Six tools, one app

Each one does a specific job properly, rather than one button that claims to fix everything.

Privacy by design

A cleaner should be boring about safety

Deleting things is easy. Deleting only the right things, and being able to undo it, is the whole job.

  • Recoverable by default

Every clean asks first: move to Trash or Recycle Bin, which is the default and fully recoverable, or delete permanently. You choose, every time.

  • Fenced in Rust

Deletions are checked against the locations that were actually scanned, in the Rust engine below the interface. Nothing outside them can be touched.

  • Scanning stays local

The scan runs on your machine and nowhere else. There is no server-side analysis, and no scan result ever leaves the computer it ran on.

  • Nothing is uploaded

File names, paths and contents are never sent to us. The only personal data we hold is your account email and your marketing preferences.

One more small thing that matters: files modified in the last ten minutes are skipped, because something is probably still using them. Read the privacy policy.

Why we built it

The familiar AVG-style cleanup tools on the Mac were built for Intel. As macOS retires Rosetta, Intel-only utilities are being withdrawn. A lot of people are about to find that the cleaner they have used for a decade simply stops working.

Clean Rabbit is a universal build: one download that runs natively on Apple Silicon and Intel, and the same app on Windows and Linux. It is written in Rust with a Tauri shell, which is why the installer is about ten megabytes rather than several hundred.

It is free, and it stays free. There is no upsell screen, no “premium” unlock behind the results, and no subscription. The account exists so we can reach you about security updates, not to meter what you can delete.
